Marshall University marked the 24th anniversary of 9/11 with a day of service: a 2,200‑step stadium climb, a Hero’s Breakfast for first responders and veterans, and a Tribute Walk that unveiled a memorial plaque and bench for alumnus Dr. Paul Ambrose, who died on Flight 77. The events honored lives lost and those who served after the attacks.

Streameast Shut Down: ACE and Egyptian Authorities Dismantle Notorious Soccer Piracy Network

Streameast, the piracy site known for free streams of top European soccer, was shut down on Sept. 4, 2025, in a joint action by Egyptian authorities and the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment. The takedown targets a network of domains tied to live sports piracy. Rights holders say the move is a major step against illegal streaming, but copycat sites and mirrors are likely to follow.
